Requirements

• Any working ROM with xRecovery
• Flashtool
• FTF bundle posted below
• THE Last two steps are only if you are not on a gingerbread rom already with baseband 71
Features
• Pre-rooted (Superuser files pre-installed, busybox pre-installed!)
• Recovery 0.3 (fully working)
• FPS Uncap Hack
• DSP Manager
• I really left everything the way it was. It was a fast rom from the start.
• Ram Tweaks
• My Network and battery tweaks
• Zhidzhus fix for 998 mhz. (Saves battery)
• Performance increase is magnificent and rom is smooth
• SD card tweak (set at 2048 by default) you can change this value by downloading sd booster from the market and entering your own custom value.
• Native Ad blocking
• Green Icons
• VERY LIGHT AND FAST.
• Only 72 mb
• MY third rom and MY INITIAN to being an official developer.
• Pretty good for gaming. (Not as good as Lion's Pride but it does the job great)
• Added cyanogen mod settings
• Added theme manager.
• Added a bunch of tweaks from the original gingervillain rom
• The gingervillain rom itself is from the latest version which was 9/27/11
• Very speedy and worth trying. I love it.
How to install this ROM?
1. Reboot into xRecovery and make a back-up of your current ROM. (You'll need a working xRecovery or else it will say Device/SD Card busy).
2. Wipe the following in xRecovery:
• Factory Reset (Full wipe)
• Wipe Cache Partition
• Wipe Dalvik Cache
• Wipe Battery Stats

Go to install Custom Zip and choose Lion'sGingervillain3.1.zip

The following steps are only required if you don't have the new 2.3 kernel and .71 baseband, if you do have them you can reboot your phone and enjoy this ROM.

Turn off the phone by taking out your battery when ROM installation is finished
Open Flashtool and flash the FTF Bundle I made available for download. Press on Flash and follow the steps given to put your x10 into flashmode and flash the baseband and kernel.
When Flashtool is finished you can plug out the USB, turn your phone on and enjoy this ROM

Guys I can now call myself a developer. I've managed to port gingervillain from the HTC Desire to the X10. The rom is the very latest version. The version is 2.3.5. This is not a mod of anything. Its a full port by me.

Now thanks are in order. I'd first like to thanks spaarc for writing the guide on how to port roms and zdzihu who's cyanogen mod rom I got the files from to port the rom.

It has been frustrating but in the end I prevailed. As for the rom. Its pretty much untouched. I had to delete a couple of apps that interfered with the status bar and caused force closes but the rest is pretty much untouched.

I added more tweaks than in my pride rom and fury rom as this rom itself had some excellent tweaks which I will incorporate into my other roms.

But thanks for support and rom will be available tomorrow. As I now have to do some extensive tests to make it quicker and see if anything's wrong

what about camera?

but no 3.1 kernel right?

Yes camera works fine. And no. You can't port a kernel from another device like that. You'll have to use parts of it. But yes. As far as I can see everything is working. I'm adding features as we speak.

Full post will come tomorrow. The fact is this rom is from a totally different device and has a lot merged in it. I like it. But wait till I post the features.
