Well, you should be able to root it, if you follow the instructions on Xda and the SE website. Unfortunately, if you're like me and on O2, you're out of luck, as O2 have loocked the bootloader and it can't be unlocked (hopefully someone will find a way round this).

hey thanks for the reply and thankfully i changed contract from 02 to talk mobile as got a better deal on it and will have a look about to see what i can find

Hi, new to this forum. I came to know about sony xerpia latest skin cover available in market. I heard that sony company is launching their own skin cover it means if you buying sony mobile, it would be easy to get a skin cover for specific model.
