Hi all,

This is my first android phone.......by following this excellent guide I've downloaded the "install-superboot-windows" to my phone. (well it's showing in the contents list of Removable Disc(D) ).

But I'm stuck on the 3rd stage of installing clockwork. . . got the device not found / waiting for device message.

Can anyone help me. . .. I'm stretching my computer skills getting this far so help in simple language would be great!!!:D

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Hi steve had the same problem yesterday, you need to follow this link http://www.multiupload.com/YCYCBHSI40
once you have installed the drivers just follow the guide again only this time it will find your phone. Did mine this way today.

Good luck mate.

OK. . . I've managed to get both "INSTALL-RECOVERY-WINDOWS" and "INSTALL-SUPERBOOT-WINDOWS" onto my phone.

They are showing up on "removable Disc (D) as "windows batch file".

Have I done it??

Whst next??

I'm having no luck whatsoever with this. As soon as I get to the stage "6. now install-superboot-window" the phone reboots and hangs on the green android man. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, now the error reads:

Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.

Android bootloader interface

The system cannot find the file specified

Can anyone please help with this?

This is starting to drive me mad too!!

I deleted what was showing on the phone and started again. . . .now it's showing device not found/waiting for device when I double click install superboot.

It's showing on device manager as "handset mass storage USB device". Windows has determined that the driver software is up to date.

This looked so easy to start with!!!!!

Any ideas????:( :(
