Guest persko
You cannot flash from fastboot unless your phone is S-OFF. But as you can boot into the bootloader, you should also be able to boot into recovery: 1: power your phone down ( if needed remove the battery) 2: hold the "vol down" key while pressing the power button. You should now come up in HBOOT with a menu, where you can select "Recovery" 3: Select "RECOVERY", and press the power button The phone should now boot into recovery, the procedure from here depends on the recovery loaded on your phone; but using the procedure, you used to flash the bad rom, do the following: a: Clear cache, and do a "factory reset (clear everything) b: Flash a good rom image, eg the stock Desire rom from this site

Hmmm, from what I have read, your only option if you haven't got a goldcard is to use the official HTC upgrade to 2.3..... http://htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads It's the top one on the list. Not sure if this is rootable yet, check below for details on this.... Hope this helps you!! http://revolutionary.io/

Guest Alsajosora
Signature error. Do you know what HBOOT version you are running? In fastboot, if you do <fastboot devices> does your phone show up? At this point maybe try and S-OFF your Desire, my thinking is such that even if your system ATM is unbootable, this should put on a custom recovery. S-OFF the system and thereby allow you to flash a new HBOOT from AlphaRevs site. Also being S-OFF you should be able to flash any RUU....However you will lose S-OFF and root if you flash an official rom.....Any one out their know if this thinking is correct? Also ensure your battery is at least 30% charged.... Edited October 17, 2011 by Alsajosora
