I'm running Lubuntu on my old laptop and was wanting to transfer music over to my Honeycomb Archos 80 G9. When plugged in via USB the Honeycomb tablet does not auto-mount, so I found a handy tool called gMTP which is available in Synaptic.

It works great, and is an easy drag and drop tool.
