I have a problem my P970 upgraded to 2.2.2 and then upgrade the simcard not recorded in any more running out of carrier signal and a red x, it appears that may be the baseband, basebands someone could provide for this procedure as a model and all apply the baseband? sorry for english I'm Brazilian. I thank for your attention.

i experienced the same problem i upgrade to NOVA rom and my signal is breaking, and the phone is allways searching for signal and that makes my baterry ends too fast, now i upgrade to CM7 but the problem persists,here is a screenshot

Have you checked that your APN is correct: Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names it should correspond to your carrier, if you cannot see the correct one get
APN Manager from the Market and insert the correct one!
