Guest zycheung
Hi,I'm completely new to Android (or even smartphone I should say) as I just got my Acer Liquid Metal today. Everything seemed great until I plugged in my Sim Card. It won't register and keeps giving me this error message. 'The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.' Tried all sorts of things after searching the web but can't find a working solution. Even tried the factor reset, still doesn't solve the problem. I'm stuck and frustrated as I can't make any phone calls! (But it seems i can connect to WiFi with no problems though). Below is the some details of the phone. Hopefully, it will be of some use.Phone Model: Acer Liquid MetalAndroid version: 2.3.4Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-perfBuild number: Acer_LiquidMT_3.027.01_EMEA_GEN1 Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,Michael

Guest zycheung
Just a quick update on this. Decided to check another Sim Card before upgrading (still a newbie to Android so it was actually a hard route for me...), and it turned out it worked just fine! Contacted the network operator, requested a new Sim card, plugged in and worked like a magic. I'm 100% sure though the old sim card worked on my old Nokia, so no idea what went wrong.
