Where are people at with testing the overclocking potential of the OMC? What is the battery resource drain like? And the performance increases? And what were the rumours I heard about ZTE potentially releasing firmware for a 1GHz default for the processor?

Some of the custom roms have overclock apps, i'm on SFR Star Addict rom and can clock to about 960mhz, anything more and it crashes when opening other apps, it also downclocks to 122mhz with screen off, which is lower than stock, so would in fact prolong battery life.

So what settings do you actually have for the CPU? I'm using BlueMonte btw.

im using blue monty 1.8d mate and mines is min 122mhz max 960mhz...works a treat for me...no issues and feels nice and fasty!!

I'm having an issue with my OMC. It's rooted but I'm unable to get 'No Frills CPU' to allow me to overclock. I'm running on the stock

ROM, what do I need to do to make this work?. I tried BlueMonte and it works fine but I've had to go back to stock due to the

black screen when dialling issue (non of the fixes worked for me). So my question is :- how do I get overclocking working on

my OMC?

Thanks guys,

Chris

Stock ROM has stock kernel = no overclock

^ That's why you can't OC on stock. ^
