Here it is folks, I have begun porting CyanogenMod 7.1.0 from the HTC Vision (Desire Z) to our LiquidMetals

Here's what works:

  • Main Operating System (runs perfectly no lag)
  • Touchscreen with multi-touch
  • Hardware Acceleration
  • Speakerphone
  • Audio
  • Overclock (thanks to Technolover)
  • GSM (no data)
  • Sensors (accelerometer, proximity, etc)
  • Bluetooth
  • GPS
    What doesn't Work:
    • Everything else like:
    • Mobile Data
    • Wi-Fi
    • Camera
    • Notification LEDs
    • etc

There is still a huge amount of work to be done, but i invite anyone along to help with the cause of bringing the CyanogenMod to our LiquidMetals.

Any help will be greatly appriciated.

    Installation Instructions:

    Download

    rev 2

If it fails signature check just disable signature verification, didn't have time to check if it worked.

Test finished.

Thought many things cant work.(AS the list)

But I tested the performance was amazing!

In Quadrant got 2062@1GHZ and got [email protected].

In Neocore got 48FPS!

Wait for complete CM7!(maybe CM9?XD)

Good to hear about the performance.

i reckon cm9 is definitely possible, this port is training my skills :P

You won't get fully working rom without building it from sources.. reverse-engineering not always saves the world :D

Device tree is a folder with vendor stuff and configs that builds and links with cymod sources.
