I've looked everywhere for an answer to this and am verging on installing a third party app to fix it (if that work). I just want to have my contacts merged. I have synced with facebook and so have all those contacts but obviously some without numbers. I have tried adding a contact under exactly the same name with their number to see if it would auto-merge as some forums said it would do this - it didn't. I also tried joining them through the edit-menu, but that didn't work either. How do I do this easily? Very frustrating having multiple contacts for the same person. Cheers

Are you using bluemonte? It's the main problem I'm having with the rom also. Works fine on cm7, we just need tillaz to fix it.
