Will it be possible to make the "slap the O2X to move the cursor" feature work on CM7? +1 for this, its actually a really handy feature I miss having in cm. Smart share was handy and some of their widgets (I liked the firework live wallpaper too). They are all nice but not essentials as the markets served up some alternatives. Tnx Paul, if you'll do this, you will create the PERFECT ROM. The 2 problems of CM7 roms, are RADIO FM and CAMERA. If you fix these.... In CM7 camera has NO STABILIZATION, and record @ 9 FPS at 720 or 1080 P. LG Camera works great. In CM7 there's no RADIO FM. LG Radio FM Works great. Guest akyp Posted November 4, 2011 Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 Paul you're the man. :) I switched back from CM7 to v20e/i/j ROMs, mainly because CM7 won't read SIM contacts, and nobody seemed to care, that and the dialer which wasn't very clever compared to the LG one. (the one in CM7.1 sucks, specially the alarm ones) It's easy enough to get the ringtones. Just copy the LG ones into /system/media/audio/ringtones with ADB or ES File Explorer or similar. When I was trying CM7 I made a little tweaks zip for CWM which did that, as well as installing the Roboto Font, Stock SD card mounting, Polaris Office and Titanium Backup. Decided to come back to stock after a couple of BSOD's which seemed to be something due to bluetooth, but I'd be keen to try a MCR which included a few LG apps along with the next CM7 stable version. My requests would be Stock Dialler/Contacts, Alarm/Desk Clock, Smartshare and the Camera. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Any ringtone you place in that folder will automatically be picked up by the system, and will therefore be available in the system menus. Have fun. I was trying a recoding test in my room, so maybe it was in the "low light" condiction. Lg camera in the same condiction worked great! And, without stabilization, It's really hard to take a good video..... By the way, tnx for the answer Rusty! You've ever helped me, here and in XDA forum! CM7 are way better on memory and speed in general, mostly all the talk about bad LgStuff will be better with another launcher like ADW(the one used by CM7), a really good launcher with lots of tweaking options.
