Amazon have just launched version 2 of their Android Appstore in preparation for the Kindle Fire launch.
The updated version - available either by using the 'check for update' option in the application itself or in APK form at http://mdc.gd/aadownload - unifies the UI with the recently refreshed Kindle app (and the look and feel of the Kindle Fire seen at the launch). On the whole the app looks a little bit slicker, works pretty much the same as before and uses the screen real estate a bit less effecively as a result of the changes.
I've included some before and after shots below (click to zoom). Non US users, remember we have a guide online detailing how to get access to the Appstore internationally!
What are your thoughts?
