Hi guys anybody have any idea about a really good case for the play? I have tried two so far and although the back of the case is fine the front section on both were rubbish and if id not had a skinomi screen protector (which are absolutely awesome btw and something that i would recommend to everyone) they would have scratched the hell out of the screen (the skinomi and its ridiculous self healing shield thing have thankfully stopped this from happening). so are there any good cases out there? was specifically looking for a jelly one as I think they seem to offer the best protection but can't find one! also are the wallet cases any good?

I don't think you would have scratched the screen you might have scratched the crappy plastic outer cover.

If you take that off (You can use a pin carefully away from the part of the screen you look at and peel it off).

Won't scratch - the pin won't even mark it - neither will a car key.

(Apparently it does make it more likely to shatter but with it off you could use a higher quality protector and get rid of the glare).

I would quite like some input on this. I got my son the white one from Phones 4 U, and just got a dock from Amazon, would be good to have one that works
with the dock, without having to remove it!

I had the same problem (Seller even listed it as genuine Sony Ericsson which presumably would work.)

I've bought myself a flip case (from Hong Kong) The reason why I've not bought a silicone case is because in the past I've had experience with silicone cases and slidy phones. The thing connecting the two parts of the case tend to break off after a while; basically destroying your protection.

That's an awful case all the dust and crap gets in from the sides

Well, it seems to be the only one that "works" with this phone. I've had slidy phones in the past (Long before android) and I tell you when using crystal or silicone cases on them, you're wasting your money because they'll break quickly due to using the product's slidy mechanism
