Hi,

I'm selling on my GT540 and want to delete everything off it. I've tried both the soft reset (in settings, privacy, factory data reset) and the hard reset (press volume up button + home button + search button). Both complete fine but both still leave data on my phone - a few photo's in the gallery, extensive evidence of old apps, etc. Is there no way to reset the phone completely? I assumed the hard reset would do exactly that.

You need to also format your SD card to remove pictures etc etc, or just take out your SD card.
