Just to mention, these are missing the recovery partition, if anyone has an un-molested device and they want to help out, you can flash clockworkmod recovery to the boot partition and then dump the original recovery partition...

If your upto the challenge and feel as if you want to be part of the Big Society let me know..

I've tried the install stock roms for the SF2 via Clockwork Mod, all I get is:

Finding update package...

Opening update package...

Installing update...

Installation aborted.

Any ideas guys?

Thanks,

Adam

They aren't in the right format for recovery. They will need to be extracted and made into CWM recovery zips.

Better option would be to provide nandroid backups of the stock roms. That's easy to do.

Tried http://files.podtwo.com/roms/stock/zte/blade2/OUK_P736VV1.0.0B09-update_signed.zip and http://files.podtwo.com/roms/stock/zte/blade2/OUK_P736VV1.0.0B11-update_signed.zip, both show the same error.

Did download and try http://files.podtwo.com/roms/stock/zte/blade2/P736EV1.0.0B12-update_signed.zip which worked (hurrah!) but when I realised this was for the Vivacity, I pushed back over Clockworkmod recovery and unbranded ROM.

Ah, seems something went a bit wrong with the upload of the OUK files.. I'm pushing them back up again, they will be there in about 30-40 minutes...

On the skate tutorial there is even a video (Not that I would ever choose a video to do anything).

It cannot be made any easier.

(The only possibility would be to make a full solution but it would be really time consuming and likely would break a few phones - Don't think I would get testers either.)

Just a quick question before I break my phone. To revert to stock, I would need to flash the stock rom (in my case, the Orange UK image helpfully provided by unrandomsam) using the following command

fastboot flashall <filename>

Right? I would like to put everything back like it was, because I want to try and unlock the phone. Probably should've done that first time around really.
