Hi all!

I wouof like to change my boot animation...

Is there a safe and free procedure / app?

Generally, you can find "bootanimation.zip" in the system/media folder. Replace it with whatever bootanimation you find / make. You can download various boot animations off the web.

Failing that you could always try "rom toolbox" off the market.

i have tried to search bootanimation.zip but root explorer coudn't find it

That's not a flashable zip....It's just the boot animation.

thanks, may i overright every bootanimation.zip on this flashable zip? or do i have also change something in META-INF folder to make it work? the question is: is it possible to create a flashable zip from any bootanimation.zip?

Honestly its easier to just overwrite the bootanimation.zip. Flash that one, and the bootanimation.zip should be in /data/local. just replace it.
