It's a long shot but does anyone have any views on call quality of Crescent  compared with original Blade? Or know from the specs whether they use  different speakers?

I'm really picky and I know it is subjective but the Blade jut sounds  really really clear to my ears compared to other phones I've had. I'd  like a Crescent (or possible Skate) but don't wan't to be disappointed with call quality.

(Apols, I'm going to also post in Skate forum as I am considering one as alternative).

Well apparently Orange has added some kind of technology to make the call quality better called "HD Voice" :

The quality sounds OK to me, not that much noticably different from the first gen, although I did get rid of the stock rom asap as it was way too slow.

That's only with both ends having a SF2 as no other phones have it yet.

I Currently Have a OSF on Japanese Jellyfish RLS9 rom and was wondering if its worth upgrading the OSF2/Vivacity with a custom rom?
