Guest teemo
Just bought the Medion p4310 and flashed CM7. Medion is sold as hsupa with max 384kbps upload :-( ZTE Skate data is hsupa 5.76mbps. Personally I can't get more than 85kbps, but download is okay with 3000+kbps. The provider is ok, my HTC give me full speed on same SIM. Question, what is your dl/ul ? How can I get full upload speed from my device? Hardware should be capable. Guest Roph
Sice the skate uses essentially the same chipset as the blade, I'm guessing it's the same 7.2 down, 5.7 up. I've gotten up to 4 mbit/s upload on GiffGaff before =o

I've gotten up to 4 mbit/s upload on GiffGaff before =o Thanks for answering Roph, but... That's the problem with this forum, people are guessing. I searched the Blade forum for same issue. A few people claim they have high speed upload, but there is no proof. Now I have searched internet for answers but all I can see is: Orange MC, Medion p4310 and even ZTE's own Skate are all limited. No one claim it can do HSUPA (> 384kbps), all they promise is UMTS, which is max 384kbps. All this mean that upload speed is limited, most likely by firmware. Probably because Qualcomm sell cheaper without hsupa enabled in radio. But the chip could also be hardwired to disable it, need schematic to check on that :P. It also mean that people really don't care about upload speed, since I am the only one missing it. I like to upload pictures and stuff, but it takes ages compared to my old HTC :(. Any proof out there, that Skate/OMC/p4310 (or even Blade/SFO) can be fooled to use HSUPA ?
