Everything else is backed up to your google account, besides, the sim doesn't hold full contact info such as email all that well. Well for example I am usin google account that has various contacts from few years ago, and I am always puttin contacts in phone memory and in contacts I am usin phone memory because when it imports contacts from google I have like 5000 contacts that I dont know at all.... Then import contacts from SIM. I did the same.
