i forgot the pin to unlock my phone. i've read that after a few attempts it will ask you for the gmail account linked to your phone but i'm upto 20 failed attempts so far and still no prompt. will it ever ask for my gmail details or do i have to reset it?
and will a reset lose all the photos stored on the phone?

ok i've just managed to get into the phone by entering what i though was the correct pin (guess i slipped on one of the numbers) but i obviously don't want to get out of the phone and let it lock again. it won't let me change lock screen settings because i don't know the pin! any suggestions?

ok solved it quicker than i thought. i carried on going mental on the keypad quickly entering again what i thought was the correct pin and it let me change the pin. er, happy new year
