Hi,

I have an Acer Liquid E for half a year now, and decided to flash a custom ROM on it.
I Flashed it with LiquidNext without any problems, but my GPS software didn't work on it.
So i flashed it back with a standard ROM.
The problem starts here...
The ROM I found, downloaded an flashed my phone with, was one for Fido  devices only.
I didn't notice the message that it's for Fido phones only in the thread of that site *dumb me*, so I flashed the Fido ROM to my Liquid E *still dumb me*.

Problem is: My phone asksk for a code to unlock my sim card, because it thinks it is a Fido device...
I don't have such code, so I have a huge problem.
I already paid for a code, but I still have to hear that my phone has no matching unlock code.
Pretty obvious, because my phone is not a standard Fido phone, so the IMEI code has no match.

But my question is: How can I unlock my device?
I already tried:

and also to put another ROM on it.
But nothing seems to help.

Can one of you pro's help me?

Hi. *dumb questions* Did you install Malez recovery? If yes, can't you just flash another rom?

Hi,

I already flashed several other ROM's, but nu result.
The phone stays sim locked...

I found on the internet something about the radio rom that has changed,
but I can't find one for acer liquid e...

Does it ask you for the code even without the sim inserted?

No, it only asks for the code when my SIM is inserted.
When I try another sim, it's also the same problem.
