Guest Mark Dearlove Posted January 6, 2012 Report Share Posted January 6, 2012 LG have confirmed to Pocket-Lint that they are aiming to a Google TV device in the UK in 2013. They will be demonstrating their implementation of Google TV at a press conference on 9th January. The interesting part of the LG version is that they will be using Android in their 'Magic Remote Qwerty' remote control for their TVs so there may be some potential for 3rd party development both for Google TV itself and the remote. Additionally Google has announced some other manufacturers that are expected to launch Google TV devices in 2012. They include Sony, Samsung, and Vizio.
