i'd like to backup my phonebook and SMS messages so i could flash my phone.
could someone give me an 100% working solution for this, and when i restore my messages, will they be in inbox and in the same order as they are now?

Google for pocket pimbackup. I used it for my ombia2 long ago. It will backup your address book, SMS Calender etc

Samsung Omnia2 with my own lite i8000NXXJJ1 wm6.5 by using twu2 script
Samsung Galaxy S2 Gary XWKI8 and DXKI2 ROM.
Worked great for me.
