I have a Acer Liquid Metal on 2.3.6. I have a custom ROM T&L. It  came preinstalled with Link2SD. I like to try lots of apps and this  problem seems to be haunting me. I reset my phone on the 26th Dec as it  was so annoying. I think I have set up Link2SD correctly. I have a 4gb  SD with 1gb as ext2. Please see the screen shots:

If I  have Link2SD, why do I still have a problem with low internal storage?? I  have had to remove some app's but the internal storage always gets  lower.

Have I set Link2SD up correctly? How can I resolve this problem?
