Before flashing I want to be sure that if I only change the eboot and pda the phone part will stay intact, I mean the phone wont be damaged so it will always stay in offline mode (no service no matter what), I'm planing to use one of ock's roms.

I tried only ock's premium rom, and he has no phone part,so you can feel free to flash him.Of course you must first comply with the flashing procedure.

can here be a problem with the rom's version and the phone.bin's one, something like compatibility issues?
