Technically speaking,if with increase internal memory you mean increasing the size of /data partition,where user apps are stored,yeah it could be done,but it would require an hard work,because the partition size is fixed by the Acer Tool every time you flash an official/leaked ROM. So someone should reverse engineer the tool to get the partition schemas and edit them,but it would be an huge effort,moreover quite risky 
On the other hand,there's a (quite) simple operation that can be performed to store more apps on your phone,and that is known as Apps2SD (or a2sd). Perform a search on this forum to get more infos and tutorials
