Guest Victor von Zeppelin Posted January 13, 2012 Report Share Posted January 13, 2012 Hot on the heels of the Transformer Prime receiving Ice Cream Sandwich, Asus have announced that its older sibling, the Transformer TF101 will be getting the update to Android 4.0 in early February, or at the very earliest, the end of January. The news comes from an Asus Facebook page, which originally stated the update would be out on the same day as the newer tablet, but was later retracted. The date was subsequently moved backwards and forwards, according to commenters on Android Police. A final (yet still unofficial) date has been pegged to “around the end of this month”. With that, Asus’s two tablets will be the first and second tablets to receive ICS, a mighty achievement and one they should try to keep up with, what with the recent slew of new tablets announced.
