Guest Victor von Zeppelin
A handful of Motorola Xoom owners have reported that an update has arrived on their device. Initially Motorola remained quiet which led us to believe that this was some form of Honeycomb patch. Since then however, the manufacturer has confirmed that the roll-out process of ICS has begun! We're seeking clarification as to whether the update is only being pushed to the GED units sold in the US, or if this is a worldwide roll-out, either way it's great news :D Full statement from Motorola after the break. Souce: Android Central Quote“Thanks for your patience as we've waited for this project to begin. Because we are dealing with a Google Experience Device (GED) we have less insight to timing than we would usually have. However, I'm happy to announce that we will start the update this evening. Because it was delayed a few days, we will also have additional time to test; we will let it run through the weekend.” This item was promoted to the News page - click here to view. Guest Aerione
It would be great if it was possible to utilize the tegra 2 drivers found on this ROM to speed up the ROM developement for the other Tegra 2 devices seeing how they all have more or less the same specs. Nvidia doesn't seem to want to release them by themselves anytime soon.
