I bought this battery for £3.99 and got it the other day. They've pushed the price up to 5.99 but it now ships from the UK.

Despite not expecting much, it seems to last pretty much the same as the stock battery! Screenshot below (I'm a moderate user, heavy use on hour long commute and little use in the day).

Is the same size as the stock batt and it says 2000mah on the battery (although that is likely to be a lie :) )

I assume that this would not allow NFC/Android Beam like the official battery does.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't.

I have no use for NFC at the moment as your options in the UK are virtually nil anyway :)

Thanks for the Heads Up, ordered mine @£3.99 including postage today.

Ideal for a back up and no need to carry a charger all the time. Further updates, personal experience and findings to follow.biggrin.gif

I checked with the vendor and the fully packaged genuine battery with NFC is $35. Anyone interested?

I bought one of these batteries for £5.99, tested it abit, and it seems fine.

It's now in my wallet as a spare if i run out while out and about.

I bought the 2300 mAh version of this battery. Haven't really had time to test yet but seems okay

OK I've had this battery for nearly a week now, it a 2000mAh battery and I have found that it has been good for over 11+ hrs of normal use (compared to 18-21hrs with the stock battery) but for me at £3.99 including postage it is more than ideal as a backup battery.

Just in case you were not aware if connected to a mains power source, you can change over the batteries over without having to switch the phone off.

Correction to battery life, I spent hours on the phone yesterday with numerous long duration calls, constant messaging and browsing etc. over 18hrs, very pleased am I.
