Sorry for my english, I'm french.

Hi everybody,

I have a strange problem with my new StarAddict (SFR France) smartphone. It was be offer from a friend who said to me that I have to unlock it if I want to use it. I follow carrefully your tutorial and everything works perfectly (my Bouygtel sim was recognized).

BTW, I have a strange problem with my CPU. It is ALWAYS at 595Mhz with all rom (CM7, CM9, STOCKS with Kernel from 23.12 or two other great rom as atomic v4).

I had reflashed the phone with the unlocker tutorial ... Nothing change. Nofrills CPU says me that there are :

122, 245, 320, 480, 595)

There' not the 800Mhz by default ...

Help please ... it still very laggy and useless ...

Thanks !

Hmm... Is this phone a French branded ZTE skate?

If yes, it's very strange for it to be locked at 595...as the stock / default max clock speed is around 785 or something!

I'd try a TPT and installing Atomic or SKatie, if you still have no luck I'd assume it's a hardware failure and send it back on warranty (if that's possible).

Is the Staraddict really the same as the Skate? I've looked it up and the picture looks a bit different, could you maybe show your phone? I read that SFR rebrands ZTE phones, but if your phone is more of a Blade than a Skate, that would explain the CPU-speed.

Yes it's a french ZTE branch.

I'm sure that it would be a 800Mhz CPU because a friend (who have not unlocked his ZTE) have 791Mhz in nofrills without root.

And, I think that the phone was no be able to boot if it's not a correct CPU in there ? No ?

No warranty ... buying used phone ... :(

Run Antutu benchmark on it and compare it to arnookie's video
