Andriod users - micro usb cable, are they all the same?

Quick question, are all micro usb cables for Andriod phones the same.
I lost mine and need to get one for work as battery life.

I presume it charges via the usb standard power output, but i wanna be sure before i stuff up my new Dual SIM Card Touch Screen Cell Phone.

I have an LG phone and a blackberry, the wife has a Galaxy S2 and a Kindle.

We use the same data cable/charger for all devices.
