Can anyone, who has access to the ZTE Handsets' Support website and its Download Center, pull this file for V9C:


153870B0393GB_RLNC_V9CV1.0.0B03.zip   dated 2nd August, 2011.


it is available there for sure. one person here in India has posted the snapshot as a proof, but he is asking a hefty sum to provide the ROM, which I don't find appropriate.

I've been keeping my eye on the download center for V9C roms but I've not seen any,  do you have a link to the snapshot?

I would be very grateful if you could check on firmware for the Vodafone smart tab 10. it's a ZTE v11a device. Internal fw name is vdf_rs_v11av1.0.0b03. Thank you.

Seems ZTE are getting thier act together, I noticed these are new (ish)

thanks for the info sebastian. can you please upload the V9C retail ROM? i'll try experimenting with it.

moreover, when I was running CM7 (V9 stable 7.1), on my V9C, wifi/bt/sensors didn't use to work. different drivers i guess. but the CPU used to run at 864MHz. (the installed MSM-7227T is rated at 800, I believe it can be easily pushed beyond 900 atleast).

on the stock ROM, all hardware components work normally, but processor is limited to 800

is there any way, by using modules, through which I can OC it again? custom kernel would be difficult since ZTE isn't ready to give out the sources.

PS: I have full root access, and unlocked bootloader.

please guide. or, is it possible to port CM7-V9 onto the V9C, since we now have the drivers?

I tried it on my v9, and had the same sort of results, it booted and worked fine, apart from the camera/wifi/RIL.

The source to build CM for the V9 is out there, so it should be simple (ish) to port it to the V9C...

i've posted a request for ZTE to release the Kernel source code for the V9C, so we'll see what comes of that.

Here are V11 firmwares. They've been out for a week, actually.

They're revision B07 which appears to be newer than the pre-installed B03, right mobilx? If you figure out how to flash them, pls tell me as well.
