I have link2sd setup on a 4GB card and have just got a 8GB. How can I migrate to the new card without loads of hassle? Obv. the FAT partition can be copied quite easily but the ext2 I'm not sure about. I don't want any data loss or have to reinstall anything if possible. But then i thought about migrating to the 8GB one. I completely erased all content on it and copied content from 2GB card onto it. Everything works fine. P.S: I have hidden files and folders visible so i donno if some files are hidden or not. Guest ltpitt Posted January 23, 2012 Report Share Posted January 23, 2012 Simply burn a Linux Ubuntu (or Linux Mint: very user-friendly) cd and start your computer with it. Guest onesky Posted January 29, 2012 Report Share Posted January 29, 2012 i dont' remember the exactly steps i connected both the cards first i copied the fat32 then the EXT2 just note the space of EXT2 (or ext3 in your case) must be equal or bigger in the new card.
