FPSE GPU plugin?

I've just bought FPSE, the first thing I've ever bought for Android! (after just over a year)

I tried to download the GPU plugin linked from here but it runs slower than the software rendering. (mind you does look nice using full res)

Anyone got this working? I guess the idea of them being plugins is you get different ones for different GPUs?

What is the GPU in the Cresent?

The GPU is the same as the Blade from my Knowledge.

im sure i read somewhere it was "adreno 200"
"Qualcomm MSM7227 800 CPU with Adreno 200 GPU" is what wiki and a sheet on pdadb say.
