Well the HTC Primo could be just what Dr Dre ordered. Its innards reportedly consist of 512MB of RAM and a dual-core 1Ghz Qualcomm processor - so while not ground-breaking by 2012's standards, it should prove a worthy successor to the Desire S. At just 9mm deep, it (like the Desire S,) will also feature a 3.7" Gorilla Glass screen which will suit many people's hand-span much better than the 4.3+" mammoth phones that have become the norm. More details after the break. While running Android 4.0 is ticks a big box on the checklist of many, the picture suggests it will make use of on-screen navigation buttons as per the Galaxy Nexus. How much AMOLED real estate is left after these buttons gobble their share of pixels is not known, but it could well result in a smaller usable area than the 3.7" screen suggests. It's not confirmed whether the Primo will come boxed with Beats by Dr Dre headphones or not, but if the render above is anything to go by, it will look well at home in the HTC Beats by Dr Dre family with its sharp flashes of red over a black chassis. That handset is also home to a f/2.0 5MP camera - a decent quality camera for a "budget" device that could be enough to sway those on the fence.
