LN Mix

First of all thanks to Suxem and Thepasto for their rom.

This rom is a mix of liquidnext 1.8 and 1.9.2

I'm not a dev but I made this rom with dsixda's kitchen.

It has darktremor's app2sd and the old kernel of liquidnext 1.8

Make a nandroid backup and try it:

V4.3 http://adf.ly/7UINK (build.prop tweaks: improved scrolling, hw acceleration fix, better battery drain)

V4.2 http://www.mediafire...o6vqt8xv1yjwsvc (good battery drain, beats audio)

V4 http://www.mediafire...vyhdsd0cy7j0djo

Cyanogenmod 7.1

Liquid Next 1.9.2 with undervolt kernel(works well with EXT3) :

-Version with darktremor app2sd:

lndark 1.1 http://adf.ly/7ZO8f (the fastest liquidnext, with darktremor app2sd, adw launcher, launcher pro, build.prop tweaks and fixes, modified sysctl.config file, undervolted kernel, original acer rild)

If you have problems with undervolt flash this: http://www.mediafire...d1b78gd5yc5wsdl

If you have problems with battery drain flash this: http://adf.ly/7b2P3

-Version without any app2sd script: http://www.mediafire...11fqjio9igfw0ll

CyanogenMod 7.2 RC1

V1.2 http://adf.ly/7X1w2 (added ADW launcher, added Live Wallpaper, fixed proximity sensor with modified services.jar, fixed camcorder with miui camera)

V1.1 http://adf.ly/7TvZS (sdman, undervolt kernel, launcher pro, modified build.prop, proximity sensor works with sanity)

V1 http://adf.ly/7Qg6S (based on Honor and Torrorosso's porting, with sdman,launcher pro, undervolt kernel, proximity sensor works with sanity app)

TTS fix: http://adf.ly/7hfai

Beats Audio: http://adf.ly/7QguB

Looks worth a try. What was your main intention in building this ROM? You wanted the older kernel or you didn't like the SDMAN scripts?

My main intention was to enable dalvik cache to sd without problems in ln 1.9.2 and have a more stable rom, so I found this solution.

Actually I'm experiencing stability issues with newer roms while it ran so smooth with those equipped with older kernels, I was looking for them but they're hard to find since megaupload lockdown.

This rom is worth a try, just to investigate if my liquid for some reason doesn't like new kernels or it's just flawed in hardware.

if you want stable dalvik on sd, just use an ext3 partition instead of ext2 and enable it from terminal emulator in LN 1.9.2

Guest darkinlight

thank you for your contribution

I flashed the -Version with darktremor app2sd

my two cents:

- battery consumption it's WAY better, non longer a painful, and fast, countdown

- 3g still consumes quite a bit, still better then original LN 1.9.2

- a2sd directly working without any further tweak; so does the swap partition

(my SD was already partitioned )

tweaking a little bit with the cpu I got

min 128;

max 921;

governor; smartassV2;

I/O scheduler :vr;

no random FCs, and overall stability seems ok

more tweaking to come with incredicontrol and last V6 script, let's see how far can it go =)

again, thanks for your work

Do You think that it's possible to create a CM 7.2 port with LNP 1.8 kernel and the last adreno 200 drivers ???

If I would revert to this from CM9, is there anything special to think about regarding the reverting/flashing? I have a Liquid E, and as to my understanding I could still use Clockworkmod for nandroid and flashing.

Liquid Next 1.9.2 with undervolt kernel(works well with EXT3) :

-Version without any app2sd script, is this rom a mix of liquidnext 1.8 and 1.9.2? Features?

No, it's only LiquidNext 1.9.2 without app2sd script, so you can use link2sd.

I got an error as follow:

Error : run 'nandroid-mobile.sh restore' via console!

Any one help?

i run it at Liquid E with Malea Recovery 6.2

P.S. I use the NEW(good battery drain, beats audio) one nandroid file to restore
