Okay, ADT to upgrade to 2.2 HELP

Okay, I followed all the steps in #1 and #4.1
It then gets to "Change Mode, please wait"  and " Fastboot, flash boot.img"   and after like ten minutes tells me Reestoration is needed.
This has happened like EIGHT times.
I don't know what I am doing wrong.

USB debugging is enabled, and I have windows XP

I honestly don't know what I am doing wrong :(

NOTE TO ANYONE WITH THIS PROBLEM.. NEED USB 2.0 TO USE ADT
I hooked it to my laptop and it worked :)
