Hey guys,

I am currently considering to buy a Archos G9, but I can't really decide on which screen size to choose. The 8" screen version looks really portable and I would normally prefer 4:3 over 10:9. On the other hand, I would like to use the device to check and send emails, maybe edit a few documents, so I am worried that typing text on the 8" screen is not as easy as on the 10.1" screen.
Anyone any experience on that?

I use 10.1" and find typing quite comfortable on both landscape and portrait mode . I imagine using slightly smaller screen should not make much difference , especially having the option of landscape which enlarges on screen keyboard .

I have the g9 80 and use swiftx keyboard. Great to type on size wise, I find the input a little slow tbh but live my laptop regardless
