Google has updated their Google Docs for Android application. This most recent update brings with it a host of improvements, including the option to mark files as available offline for viewing (not editing) and an improved reading experience while on Android tablets.

Elements of Matias Duarte's UI guidelines seem to be trickling through, even though they are not fully implemented.
