I have an HTC Apache xv6700 by Verizon.  I read everything about "PagePlus & QNC",  and now I have cheap, yet very reliable phone service - with Free Internet.   The dial up speed is amazingly fast on Opera mini browser.  So, I have something good and I want to save the "Last Known Good Configuration."  I need to learn how to dump ROM with ability to successfully revert back to it.  I have done Google searches on "ROM dump".  There are options available, but I was wondering if anybody knows a way that works for sure or the way that is the best?  I want to upgrade my OS or go with a cooked ROM.  But I only got this old phone for the free Internet, so I must be able to revert to the current ROM when needed.  Thanks for any input you may have.
