I think this is for writing Arabic. But he will not be able to read correct Arabic in browser and gmail

regarding to Arabic writing i am using arabic Text & Ibrahim keyboard from the market they are working perfectly .
and iam using browser Arabic Hebrew patch from the market for browser and it is working perfectly .while for gmail the letters for the Subject are separated. the Message itself the letters are connected.

With this guide I arabized 2.3.6

But, I say again: root phone, install recovery and don't try anything before making a backup.

Its not mentioned here. And all the ones mentioned are quite different. If you had a ROM without acer UI you could choose AOSP.

Sorry, I didn't had time last days. I selected AOSP and pushed the files. I have not a problem with any app. All apps support Arabic shaping and letters are connected.

This is my phone specification,

MY PHONE IS:- ACSER MT
ANDROID VERSION IS :- 2.3.6
BASEBAND VERSION :- A4-03.32.01
KERNEL VERSION:- 2.6.35.7- perf+
BUILD # ACER_LIQUID_4.000.13_EMA_GEN1

Do I have to do this step?

3- If you’re not using a CyanogenMod ROM, then you’ll also need to pull /system/lib/libandroid_runtime.so from your phone and place it in subfolder input that you extracted in step 1
