Hello,
So my contract was due and I jumped ships to the Android Universe. I love this new phone specially watching media on the screen. Its beautiful.
Coming from a jail-broken iPhone 4 things are pretty different so I'm having a rough time adjusting.
I have one issue that is almost a deal breaker for me. I can't assign my volume rocker keys the next/previous track options as I did with my old phone.
My gnex is stock but I'm willing to root/rom my device in order to get that priceless functionality back.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers.

That should do the trick. Many of the things you had to jailbreak to get on iPhone are available without rooting on Android. Many of the other Music player Apps also have this built in. A quick Google search will find them for you.
