Guest billpine
Your PC, Smartphone or brain is conspiring against you in an attempt to make you loose your rag..? That's how I feel at the moment! I have followed the idiot sheet to the letter (Todoleo) and have only got to step 10 where the gremlins in my mind, PC or phone have struck! The problem is QPST can't find any active ports. I've been all around the PC using all the available USB ports with no joy. I've downloaded all sorts of drivers, deleted them an downloaded again but to no avail, all I have is a phone sat here in FTM mode with nothing else to do because nothing else will work and I'm starting to feel a bit I'm getting to the point where if no one has any suggestions I'll just buy a code and be done. On the plus side, what a cracking looking phone!
Guest PedroVader
Yep, and double yep! Haven't done it in a while, but there's a menu option within qpst that allows you to select the port you're connected to. I'm not anywhere near a Laptop so I can't do it step by step for you, but that's how I got it going. Keep your chin up, hope this helps ;) Pete
Guest razzmataz1478
This happened to me, just try and use a different usb port, should solve it and do ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ as well Edit: This should do it: 1. Open QPST Configuration 2. Add new port 3. Click the port you are using in the list 4. Go back into software download 5. Your port should be there, and do whatever step 10 is (backup .qcn file) :) Edited February 8, 2012 by razzmataz1478
