Hey all,                
              
         Not sure if anyone has ran across this but I wanted to know if there was a way to use the hdmi out on the dell dock to play netflix from my device onto my tv. A friend of mine showed me on his samsung infuse that the neflix app has a toggle switch under the options menu to switch between the native screen and the built in hdmi output. Ofcoarse the netflix app for the streak doesnt have that option even while plugged into the dock. I have noticed though that when veiwing a movie that is stored in the gallery( on the sd card) there is a prompt that pops up that allows u to switch to using the hdmi output to view the content. Does anyone know of a way to manually toggle the hdmi output link on or if there is "an app for that"...lol. Thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure what's up with yours but when I connect my docked Streak to my TV, whatever I get on the screen of my Streak is what I get on my TV without having to do anything else, that's with both my 5 and 7... of course you have to have the dock connected to a power source

Yeah i def have the dock plugged into a powwler source. Im also running GingerSteak 2.4.4...not sure if that makes any difference.

Well when I was running StreakDroid I didn't have any issues. Only thing I can suggest is maybe switching over to say maybe DSC ROM and factory reset from scratch and see what's up? Are you using the Dell dock? I know that some of the other generic docs Do NOT WORk, only the Dell

Yeah its the offical dell dock. I'll try that though and see if its gives me better results. Thanx for the help.

are u using the stock media player n the gallery when u mentioned perfectly....?
have u mirrored ur homescreen, browser, youtube, apps n games to the tv via the stock dell hdmi dock....?

All that.... whatever I have on my Streak screen, comes up on the TV screen. Using MX as my video player since you ask, but it doesn't matter what's on the screen, I see it on the TV

i downloaded and installed DSC ROM v0.72 ....
even using the stock dell dock, i cannot mirror everything....
only the videos using the stock media player just like any other rom....
how come then u can mirror out any screen....? possible to get a video link or something....?
