Guest LegendK95
Simplistic ICS ROM Introduction:I assume some of you know that I was a xda member, but many unpleasant things happened there. I'm happy I joined this forum as it seems like it has a way nicer feeling. Now for the real boring Introduction: I Made this Rom because I like performance, The very first time I got my galaxy s2 (which is my first android phone) I liked it very much, I even started flashing without knowing anything about android, I tried many many Roms but none was like what I wanted. I Didn't like bloatware AT ALL! I wanted My phone to use the least RAM it could, While not losing any IMPORTANT functionality. This Rom is built on a famous quote: “Make things as simple as possible, but not simpler.” and that's exactly what I have in mind, and the direction this ROM will be going to with every new release Also the ROM will be based on the newest leaked Rom available. Screenshots:Click Here for the Photobucket Album Features: Based on XXLPH Superlite As Always (176mb) AOSP Apps Include: Calendar Gallery Calculator Clock Google Music Messaging Application (My port) Everything is using my themes, no glitched in theme. My Themed TW-Launcher and Nova Launcher are included. My Themed Samsung Digital Clock. My Slightly Themed MIUI File Explorer. Lidroid's 14 Toggle Mods Ported and Themed By me :) Use Quickpanel Settings to change the way they are arranged and the way some of them function. Removed SMS From Call Logs (Thanks Wanam) Resources of Large Apps Repacked to make ROM smaller and more fluid. Disabled scrolling cache, this really made scrolling impressive along with the other tweaks! Tweaks Include Build.prop and init.d tweaks as well as Framework tweaks My CRT-OFF effect and Battery Percentage mods Remove "Swipe screen to unlock" message from lockscreen Disable MENU key in lockscreen Added a great Bootanimation, See it Here (Credits go to eyesonlybob @ Reddit) Fully Blue StatusBar including Clock. Latest Swype Beta is included in sdcard/SimplisticROM folder DSP Manager Included. Download: To download, you're welcome to visit my blog @ SimplisticROM.blogspot.com Read this: At the initial boot you will be stuck at a black screen, to fix it just reboot (you can use the reboot toggle too). Note: If you can't install apps on sdcard use this workaround (thanks to teju4u ;))1-Go to Settings and Unmount your SD Card 2-Install your Apps3-Then again Mount the SD card .... For Addon Packs check my blog, If you want something specific make a comment! Warning: The ROM is installed at your own risk, as I take no risk if your phone breaks, or even if dragons pop up from your phone and eat you xP. Guest sbfast
Hey guys I need some help changing the dpi. I used rc6 and changed dpi to 180. Still am on rc6 as I tried rc7 and 8 but could not get dpi to change. Kept getting boot looped. I have the paid version on LCD dpi modder. Does any one have any ideas what I could do? Thanks

Guest Saprobie
Coming from VillainROM v3.0 (gingerbread 2.3.5) the rom is lightning fast. Got a really good score on Quadrant. So far all of my old apps that I've installed are working flawlessly. The email and exchange apps work great. Only have one small issue which is the same as most other people. The image preview option in the camera makes the camera app force close. I've installed the CM9 camera but for some reason cannot select a different location (ie my sdcard) to store the images. Hopefully we'll see a fix for the camera soon. Otherwise outstanding work :)

Guest boffboff
Thanks for the ROM, working great so far! Smooth & Fast. Do you tinker with the kernel at all? I'm really missing BLN support. That's my only negative! Also, the links to the extra apps don't seem to be working on your blog. Thanks again for your hard work.
