I recently bought an Acer Liquid Mt, but after 3 weeks my mic and earphone sometimes won't work when I got called. I can only hear the caller (and the caller can only hear me) when I switch to speaker. I went back to my retailer and he told me to bring in the phone so they can send it to Acer for repair. :( I'm a bit worried about my warranty: I did root my phone but it's unrooted allready (and all the files+apk removed), but the only thing I can't resolve is the fact that I removed some bloatware of Acer. I did reinstall the most of it (found an .apk on the internet), but I'm not sure if I did all. So can someone bring up a list with pre-installed stuff? Should I worry about it at all? Will/can they check if this software wasn't on the phone and I installed it afterwards? What other stuff do I need to check before sending it back so I won't lose my warranty? I've looked over the ALM-forum of Modaco, but couldn't find that much info... It's having Acer_LiquidMT_4.000.13_EMEA_CUS2 as official ROM, brought back to factory settings (but the once removed apps aren't coming back with that). An official .bin or so of this ROM can't be found on the internet, so I fear that's not an option... Thanks in advance to all the replyers! Guest TechnoLover Posted February 22, 2012 Report Share Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) if you don't want to flash EMEA_GEN1 you can download this: Download run the installation and search for a *.bin of about 175M in the installation folder, then you copy this bin to another place and flash it with ADT. Then you have a clean EMEA_CUS2 with all bloatware installed. I found the file 'acer_MergedOSFile.bin' of about 200M in the folder. [Not Succ] >> Process Result : Download Process was failed... Damn, I tried it a few times (redownload, re-install, copy the .bin over and over), but it keeps giving the same error. But I can't use a phone when you can't call all the time, so I brought him to the retailer a few days ago. I hope it'll be fixed without any troubles...
