Create AccountI have installed z4root on my 2x it does look like its going well then it drops back to the phones apps page and the screen goes black. is this normal? do i need to give more time? a check shows phone as not rooted....

super one click would not root my phone or would the z4root, so i downloaded the lg update tool and allowed the phone to update to 2.3.4 and than tried super one click and 10-20 seconds later it was rooted.......
Result.
Now i have a 3500ma battery on my phone and the new rom Kills it very very quickly. So i am not a happy bunny, who could recommend a good rom to play with?
