When i try to install any .zip via clockwork i get this message:

Signature verification failed

Aborted operation

I couldn't install gapps from zip so I did it manually , one by one, couldn't install proxal.zip that was required for my proximity sensor to work, and I also copied files manually.

Now I want to install tillazs bravia engine for skate and i can't. i get the same message from cwm.

It's not about bravia engine, I can't install any zip and i don't know why...

I didn't have these problems with blade but i think CWM was version 5.xxx

I'm using CM7 version 3.5 taken from this site and clockkwork

4.0.1.4

Anyone with suggestions ?

Signature verification is an ancient method of verifying zips. I don't think anyone signs them any more! It is disabled by default in clockwork mod so you must have enabled it. Just turn it off! I guess you found tthe setting once already by now ;-)

I fixed it in "advanced" + fix ***something***

than reboot into CWM and it worked

btw i didn't touch anything in CWM, just flashed cm7...

gapps .zip still wont install but as I mentioned i did it manually, it installed bravia engine (i don't see any change biggrin.gif camera is still very awful and it's gonna stay that way biggrin.gif ) ...

I am worried that this error will occure while flashing a new ROM cuz i would like to try Ice Skater...

Thanks anyway
