Been messing around with transitions. I wanted to port the ICS transitions to the ROM but haven't had any luck. But I have been able to get the fly in transition working. If you want it here is the link.

But, can you include this apps?

- Es File explorer

- Advanced Task Killer Free

- AdFree (or only the hosts)

- RealCalc (and remove the android calculator)

- K-9 Mail (and remove Gmail app)

- ColorNote (or other note app)


But, I have a bug: Sometimes, when I lock the phone and I press again the unlock button, the phone not respond or it take about 10 or 15 second to show the lockscreen…

This problem appear on booth roms (themed and not themed rom)

This one has the same transitions but i like it much better. Since u prefer blue colors i think u'll agree to that:

I really like ur ROM btw. Had Gingerounay 3.0.1 before and yours is smoother and has link2sd. Still have to update to the new one with ics-theme and technolover 1.4a .

Restore now working ok.




Complete the look with go launcher Ex and android 4 Go launcher theme.
Will fix dodgy gps icon tomorrow, (only bit of green left)

I think your next mission after finishing the Blue and Green themes is do a silver/gray one

Get the same look as the notifications slide down menu in the whole system. The top bar could still stay black but change all the icons so they become white/silver. Also make the percentage bars gray/silver.

From now on in this rom could you put the apps in the data folder so they can be easily removed and not in system. When you force uninstall an app like auto memory killer it leaves a small trace on the system and it will not let you reinstall it at all. I try and uninstall all the system apps I can and reinstall them on the SD card but this way makes it hard. Vache had all the apps installed in data for easy removal.

Using Links2SD will remove 99% of everything to do with the program. I am not sure why you are having problems removing the apps and re-installing them. This has never been an issue for me.

To make sure the file is removed use SD-Maid (but be careful with it, only use the Corpse finder) to see if anything has been left over.

The reason the programs are added to system is to save space. There is a fair bit of space in system thats not used. If I used data it would be using up space you could use for other apps.

I won't add these to the main post just yet until a few people have reported that they are working fine.

These ROMs are using the updated Adreno 205 drivers. I have been running it for a awhile and haven't come across any issues but this doesn't mean you won't. So please backup before trying these out.

Using the new drivers does improve 3D graphics.

With the standard drivers I was getting about 19fps in Basemark ES 2.0 Taiji. With the updated ones I get closer to 23.

I have loads of apps running so it would be faster if I didn't have as much installed.

Depends. If you are using links2sd you will need to recreate the mount scripts after flashing the ROM. Once you have  recreated the mount scripts don't do a quick reboot, shut the phone down.

Updated the main post with the last and final version of the Performance ROM for 2.3.6
There really isn't anything more I can do to improve its performance anymore. The GPU drivers have been updated and optimized, VM dump has been increased and the database has been cleaned up and optimized. Plus a few other things.
So if you have been holding off flashing the ROM because it kept getting updated you are now safe to install it because this is it for 2.3.6

If you find that running the ROM with the updated Adreno drivers becomes unstable while gaming install the ROM with the default Adreno drivers or grab the flashable drivers from here: http://android.modac...-flashable-cwm/
