My U8350 have a touchscreen problem which I assume it was there since I bought it. The edge on the left side of the screen (from top to bottom) can't register touch. I already tested it with multitouch visualizer and multi touch paint. I'm wandering whether this is just a driver / firmware problem like the touchscreen problem on Mediapad or it is a hardware problem.

edit: it turns out to be a hardware problem.
